OPW 5000 series nozzles for buses and heavy trucks

High flow/quick fill capacity
Provides fast refuelling of vehicles with large storage systems. The internal seals are specifically designed to meet the high demands of fast refuelling of NGVs.

User-friendly one-step function
The whole refuelling process is easily initiated by connecting the nozzle to the receiver with a single 180° rotation of the handle. This automatically locks the nozzle claws onto the receiver and activates a system of three internal valves that regulate the filling. The nozzle does not dispense gas until it is properly connected. When refuelling is complete, the handle is turned to the disconnect position, which automatically stops the gas flow, vents trapped gas and releases the nozzle from the receiver.
The 5000 series nozzles connect directly to the hose, eliminating the need for a three-way valve. They are designed for self-service installations in both the public and private sectors, without the need for trained personnel.

Targeted ventilation
Vented gas on disconnection is discharged through a 3/8″ stainless steel connection (requires -6 compression adapter), which can be connected to a remote vent site or to the upstream side of the compressor. Venting gas is environmentally beneficial and increases safety by reducing the amount of gas at the refuelling site. It also reduces noise and unwanted gas odours.

Jaw-Lock™ technology
Developed specifically for frequent connection and disconnection of high pressure gas connections for NGV refuelling. The contact forces are distributed over the entire surface of the receiver, reducing wear and increasing service life.

Ergonomic design
A simple and smooth movement ensures proper connection and gas filling for all users. An insulated protective cover provides heat protection for the operator's hand.

Robust construction
Made of brass and stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance in demanding refuelling environments.

Tamper-proof
A specially designed cam system activates the front and rear valves. If tampering is attempted, gas filling is immediately cancelled.

Individually leak tested and inspected
Each nozzle undergoes leak testing and quality control, with traceable serial number.
